Delving into craftsmanship, he spent two formative years as an apprentice with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Jointers, Local 237 in Peoria, IL, nurturing a profound understanding of construction intricacies.
Owning a Home Improvement and Repair company catering to the greater central Illinois region further cemented his passion for enhancing homes. Eager to extend his impact within the community, Gary pursued and obtained his Illinois Home Inspection license, graduating from Inspection Certification Associates (ICA). He went above the normal licensure to obtain credentials as an ASHI Certified Inspector and an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector, reflecting his dedication to excellence.
With an unyielding commitment to staying up to date with evolving residential building codes and construction methodologies, Gary takes continuing education seriously. In every inspection, his wealth of experience and unwavering pursuit of knowledge ensures a thorough, informed, and meticulous evaluation of properties.
When not at work, Gary dedicates his time to volunteering with esteemed organizations such as the VFW, American Legion, and AMVETS. Embracing the outdoors, he finds solace in outdoor recreation and embarks on home improvement projects, channeling his passion for craftsmanship. Above all, Gary cherishes moments spent with his family, prioritizing quality time together as an essential part of his life.
About his military service
Gary is a retired Army Veteran with an extensive background spanning 23 years of dedicated federal service. Trained and certified by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in diverse construction fields, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, Gary brings a wealth of expertise to every inspection. His illustrious military career includes pivotal roles such as Senior Advisor to the Director of Public Works, Project Manager, Site Superintendent, Waste Water Treatment Facility Manager, and Carpentry Team Leader.
Gary’s hands-on experience, coupled with his meticulous attention to detail honed through years of military service, ensures a thorough and comprehensive inspection.
